This "Make It Yourself" kit creates a unique swimming turtle ornament. It's perfect as either a gift, or as a simple yet cute ornament/decor for yourself. Takes about 10-20 minutes to make.
Due to the nature of shells, each ornament will be slightly unique with its coloring, but all will have the same basic design.
Each ornament is approx 2.5" x 2.5" (hangs approx. 3.5" - 4" inches)
This kit includes:
1 white scallop shell (for background)
1 dyed Venetian shell (for the head)
1 green/blue limpet (the "shell")
2 purple cowries (for the front fins)
3 mini white clams (2 tiny ones for the back fins; one slightly larger one to hide the string glued to the back of the shell)
1 tied string (so it hangs)
Optional:
Ventura, CA sticker (to line the top of the shell)
**Does not include:
glue/hot glue/hot glue stick
completed ornament
Recommended, but not necessary:
Hot glue mat (a rubber pot holder is a good replacement for this)
