Lapis lazuli has been mined for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Egypt, China, Greece, Rome, and Mesopotamia, often used for cosmetics, of even to create the paint color “ultramarine blue” for the renaissance painters.  A beautiful natura stone that is reminiscent of deep ocean blues.

Made right here at Sea Things in Ventura, CA. Created using natural lapis lazuli stone, African glass beads, African metal beads, and silk cording. Perfect for those who have metal allergies and for those who love both the ocean and natural stone jewelry.
